My Christmas shopping is finally complete! If there’s one thing that I’ve learned about waiting until the last minute to shop, it’s don’t do it! I braved the crowds yesterday and managed to get everything I needed in less than two hours. I despise large crowds of people, probably because I’m timid and not assertive enough. If someone bumps into me I tell them I’m sorry, even though I know it wasn’t my fault. It’s a bad habit that I’m becoming more aware of.
My favorite thing about Christmas is giving gifts. I love everything from picking out the perfect gift to wrapping it. I’m actually a tad crazy about the gift wrapping. I received some gifts in the mail and I rewrapped them with my coordinating paper. It may seem crazy, but I like all of the paper and trimmings to be coordinated. This year everything is silver, white and gold. Is anyone else as crazy about their gift wrapping as I am? Ha.
This cute little doughnut sweater has embellishments for the sprinkles! Isn’t that the cutest little detail? I layered my doughnut sweater over a chambray shirt for a bit of added warmth. Another trick to add warmth during the colder months is to wear riding boots, like I did in this outfit. When it’s super cold I also wear thick tights under my jeans! To finish off this look I added my favorite gray statement necklace.
