Happy Monday! You may have noticed two things that I am very excited about. The first is that I finally purchased my own url and the second is that I updated my blog template, yet again. I purchased this template via Etsy from Bella Lulu Ink, and I am very pleased with the results! The last few updates that I did were of my own design, so it was nice not having to stress about getting the details perfect, plus I was never fully satisfied with my past templates. I absolutely love every detail about my new template. I was also very pleased with the wonderful customer service that I received from Lulu Ink. Since I don’t have Photoshop, I requested that my header and profile image be created by them and I was surprised when I got the email of not just one image of each, but four!
Can you believe that it is already the week of Christmas? I still have a few more gifts to buy, which is very out of character for me. I normally have all of my holiday shopping complete by the first week of December! Thankfully I already know exactly what I’m going to purchase, so that takes some pressure off of the situation.
Perhaps this green outfit was inspired by the holiday season. Maybe it’s just because my favorite color is green. This green sweater and green plaid shirt are both recent purchases that I have been wearing a lot of lately. Since I was already wearing a ton of green, I figured why not add more? This teal bag and green statement necklace seemed like the perfect additions. This outfit works because while it is a lot of the same color, all of the shades are different. The pattern of the plaid shirt underneath also breaks up the monotony of wearing all of one color.
