I don’t know about you guys, but I am so ready for winter to be over! Luckily my spring break begins next week, and I will be leaving for warmer weather. I mentioned before that for the week of spring break I am going to Florida for my marine biology class. I’ve never been to Florida before, so I am really looking forward to it. Now, this isn’t going to be a typical spring break vacation. My class and I are going to be driving down to Florida (14 hour drive) crammed into a van and other vehicles where we will spend the night in a hotel. The next day we will boated to Seahorse Key Island where we will be staying for a week. We’ll be sleeping in a lighthouse, which is pretty cool. It’s also kind of scary to think about being on a remote island with a group of strangers for an entire week (I do have two friends in the class, so they’re not all strangers)! One of our professors told us that it was very ‘rustic’. There is a limited supply of water, poor heating, and no internet. I may not look (or act) like much of a wilderness person, but I really do enjoy camping and hiking, so I’m going to have lots of fun!
When it snows, I love to wear my navy Hunter boots. I don’t have to worry about getting salt stains on my boots because these boots are super easy to clean. This gray toggle coat has become one of my favorites. I got it from Forever 21 recently, and it’s probably one of my best F21 purchases. It looks and feels way more expensive than it was! I paired my navy Hunter boots with a blue bunny sweater and crossbody bag for a little bit of color.
