If you’ve never heard of Ipsy, it’s a monthly makeup and beauty subscription. It only costs $10 per month and you receive a makeup bag and five products ranging from deluxe samples to full-sized beauty products. When you get started with the subscription, you fill out a questionnaire about what types of products and brands you are interested in. I love Ipsy because you get a lot of great products for a low price and get to learn about and try new brands. They also include discount codes for most of the brands, so if you like a brand you can purchase more of their products and save some money. I received the following products in my August Ipsy bag:
Sundreams Lotus Infused Bronzer by Pacifica ($12 for Bronzer Duo)
I received this product in the color ‘sunkissed’ and really like it! My makeup looks are typically a bit more subdued and natural, and this bronzer works well for that. You can get 20% off any purchase with the code ‘SunDreams20’.
Diamond Complexion Powder by Winky Lux ($20 for full-sized product)
I received this product in the color ‘light’. This powder is amazing! The sample size is pretty small, but I will definitely be purchasing the full-sized product in the future. You can get 30% off any purchase through 9/30/16 with the code ‘IPSYAUGUST’
No-Tug Waterproof Mini Gel Eyeliner by IT Cosmetics ($22 for full-sized product)
I received this (tiny) sample in black. It works well, but I wouldn’t say that it is any better than my go-to Covergirl eyeliner. I wouldn’t purchase this product in the future, but their Bye Bye Under Eye Illumination Concealer is amazing!
Paint Pot by Ciate London ($17 value)
I received this nail polish in the color ‘Dangerous Affair’. I haven’t tried it out yet, but it looks like a great color for the fall and winter. Get 30% off everything through9/30/16 with the code ‘IPSTER’.
12-in-1 Amazing Serum by IT Hair Care ($9.99 value)
This stuff truly is amazing. It smells wonderful, smooths out frizziness, and adds shine.
Overall I really liked my glam bag this month. The total value of the two full-sized products I received was $26.99, plus I also received three samples. The bag only costs $10 a month, so even though I got fewer full-sized products than I typically do this month, the value of the products were worth more than what I paid for them.
Do you use Ipsy? What did you get in your bag this month?
