The drugstore brand of makeup that I turn to the most is e.l.f. cosmetics. They offer affordable makeup and beauty products that typically work as well as higher-end products. I have been trying out a few new products from e.l.f. that I have included in my winter beauty routine.
In the winter my skin usually gets really dry, so I was excited to try out e.l.f.’s hydrating bubble mask. I have heard wonderful things about this mask, and I must say it didn’t disappoint! This super fun mask transforms from a gel into a thick, bubbly mask, which helps to cleanse pores and remove excess dirt. After use, my skin felt super soft and hydrated, which is exactly what my dry winter skin needed! Another e.l.f. skincare product that I have been wanting to try is the cleansing duo face brush.
In addition to the hydrating bubble mask, I have also added the mineral infused face primer, lip exfoliator, and matte lip color to my winter beauty routine. The mineral infused face primer has been a great addition to my winter skin routine because it helps to combat against dryness, which allows for my foundation to go on evenly. At just $6, this primer is one of the most affordable options on the market!
The skin on my lips also gets really dry in the winter, so e.l.f.’s lip exfoliator has been a great addition to my winter beauty regime! E.L.F.’s lip exfoliator gently removes my dry, chapped skin and leaves my skin refreshed and hydrated. The matte lip color is also moisturizing and hydrating, which is why I have been using it almost daily. I have it in the color wine, but I love it so much that I will definitely be purchasing more colors (natural and praline are the next on my list)!
I also tried the baked highlighter and baked bronzer, which aren’t the best products that I have tried, but they are great options if you’re on a budget. Once I scraped off the top layer to get the products to transfer to my brush, it seemed to work pretty well. Some tried-and-true e.l.f. products that I love are the HD lifting concealer, under eye concealer and highlighter, and eye refresh, just to name a few.
What are your winter beauty essentials?
